Elucidation Labs — General Website Terms of Use
MyTaxReality is one of several products operated by the same company. The general terms — site availability, reliance on content, third-party links, viruses, liability, intellectual property and linking to our sites — are published once, at the address above, and form part of your agreement with us when you use this Site.
This annex sets out only what is specific to MyTaxReality. Where it covers something, it takes precedence over the general terms.
Where you purchase the Freedom Day report, the separate Freedom Day Report Terms and Conditions apply to that transaction and take precedence for it. Those terms are self-contained: they are not an annex to anything.
This annex applies to the website at mytaxreality.co.uk (the "Site").
The Site is operated by Vedanta Capital Ltd, trading as Elucidation Labs ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16493104, with registered office at Suite 7, 2nd Floor, Apple Market Hub, 9 Crown Passage, Kingston Upon Thames, United Kingdom, KT1 1JD.

What this Site collects, and what it does not, is set out in our Privacy Notice annex. What it stores on your device is set out in our Cookies Policy annex. 4.1. MyTaxReality models UK personal taxation using published HMRC rates, thresholds and rules. It is a model of those rules, not a submission to HMRC, and it does not produce or file a tax return.
4.2. The model does not cover every circumstance. What is calculated, what is estimated and what is not included at all is set out on our Methodology page, which is published for exactly this reason — so that the limits of the figures are visible before you rely on them rather than after.
4.3. We may update the Site's calculator logic, figures and guidance from time to time, without notice, to reflect changes in tax rates, allowances and rules — including in-year changes following a Budget. We aim to keep it current but do not guarantee it reflects the very latest position at all times. This restates general term A5 in the specific terms that apply here.
5.1. Everything on this Site is general information, published on an 'as is' basis. It is not advice on which you should rely, and it is not personal to your circumstances even though you enter your own figures into it.
5.2. You should obtain your own professional advice before taking any action, or refraining from taking any action, on the basis of anything shown here. Your tax position depends on facts this Site does not ask you for.
5.3. We use reasonable endeavours to keep the underlying rates and rules accurate and current, but we do not warrant, represent, promise or guarantee that they are. See general term A6, and general term A9 on our liability.
This Site does not accept content uploaded or submitted by visitors — there are no comments, profiles, accounts or public submissions. The figures you enter into the calculators are not "content you provide" to us in any sense: they are processed on your own device and never reach us. If that changes, this section will be updated before it does.
